Isn’t it time to PLAY in Arizona?

  {Kris Tualla joins me today with a great blog post about a very exciting event coming to Arizona. And she’s also brought PRIZES with her!}

Have you read a good book lately? A really good romance book? Would you like to meet the author? How about meeting authors you haven’t yet discovered?

It occurred to me that SOMEONE in a city the size of Phoenix ought to be able to make that happen! So with the help of Deena and other local authors, I am. Why not? It’s not as if I have 5 books releasing in a 13-month period…

Oh, wait. I do.

Well – they need promotion and I need readers! So first, we rounded up 21 authors – including Deena! – who write in a variety of romance sub-genres: Historical/Paranormal, Historical, Paranormal/Fantasy, Science Fiction, Contemporary, Contemporary Fantasy, Latina, Erotica, Inspirational, Mystery/Suspense, and Harlequin.

Next, we thought of how best to bring the readers up close and personal to these fabulous ladies. We decided on three methods:

1. A Buffet Dinner! Everyone will sit at an author-hosted table. And the authors who are not hosting will be on one of two panels presenting during dinner.

2. Book Clubs! That’s just our cute name for the intimate 10-person evening gatherings with authors. Everyone will be able to spend 30 minutes each with 6 authors of their choice.

3. Hospitality Room! Authors are encouraged to hang out there to chat with their new fans.

Of course, we will have a bookstore where all the authors’ books will be for sale – many at Event Discounts. And – if his schedule permits – cover model Jimmy Thomas will be posing with the lucky women who make a $10 donation to our charity, Huntington’s Disease.

The event – ARIZONA DREAMIN’ – is on SATURDAY, JUNE 4, 2011 in Phoenix, AZ. All information and ticket sales are on our blog: http://arizonadreamin.wordpress.com/

Registration is $20 for General Attendance, and $39 including the catered buffet Dinner. (Seating is limited – register early!)

Room rates for those who wish to stay over are VERY reasonable and include a cooked-to-order breakfast. The reservation link is on the blog as well.

(We are also working on a special FREE Friday night party to extend the fun! Subscribe to the blog to be notified!)

Obviously, I’ll be one of the authors you can discover! My Norse men are quite spectacular. Is it time you found a new brand of hero? Please allow me to help.

For every 10 people who comment here, I will give away one free e-copy of A Woman of Choice – the beginning of the trilogy. And, yes. Commenter #11 warrants 2 copies! Comment #21? I’ll give away three.

BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!

In February at the end of my blog tour, I’ll give away one SIGNED PAPERBACK SET of the trilogy. Here’s how you can get in on that deal:

1. Go to http://www.kristualla.com/ and find the “Secret Word” on my home page.

2. Send an email to ktualla@cox.net with “Signed Trilogy Giveaway” in the subject line. Put the secret word in the body.

3. Comment on any blog at any time in the tour to activate your entry. Each day’s blog location is listed at http://kristualla.wordpress.com/blog-tour-dates-locations/

A Woman of Choice, A Prince of Norway, and A Matter of Principle are all available at http://www.goodnightpublishing.com/ – and they are only $3.49 each as an eBook!

A Woman of Choice – Missouri Territory, 1819

A woman is viciously betrayed and abandoned by her unfaithful husband. She is rescued by a widower uninterested in love. In desperation, she becomes engaged to his best friend. One woman, three very different men. Life is about choices.

A Prince of Norway – Christiania, Norway, 1820

American-born Nicolas Hansen has been asked to candidate for his great-grandfather’s throne. His new wife Sydney isn’t about to let him go to Norway and face that possibility alone. The moment they arrive at Akershus Castle, the political intrigue and maneuvering begin. Can Sydney trust anyone? Will Nicolas resist the seduction of power? Or will he claim the throne for himself? Most importantly: will their young marriage survive the malicious mischief of the ambitious royal family?

A Matter of Principle – St. Louis, State of Missouri, 1821

Nicolas Hansen has returned from Norway determined to change the world. But when he runs for State Legislator in the brand-new state of Missouri, the enemies he made over the past two years aren’t about to step quietly aside. Sydney has made enemies of her own, both by marrying Nicolas and by practicing midwifery. When a newspaper reporter makes it his goal to destroy them, Nicolas must rethink his path once again. But this time, it’s a matter of principle.

I wish I were able to go to the event (TToTT)
Problem is, it’s hard to come all the way from Switzerland, when I still have classes, to the US for the week-end…
I hope many will go there because it seems awesome!
