Fall

Fall

a warm sun cools

a crisp wind blows

swirling leaves kiss the ground with a murmuring sigh

“we are weary, we are weary”

anxious flowers bow in supplication with a silent prayer

let my spirit carry on the wind,

and return once again

a blazing sun fools

a brisk breeze knows

 fall is here
