Incongruous

 

saying one thing, meaning another
your actions belie your words
a curse cloaked in a gift

 tell me the truth, for once
without pretence, without contrivance
without all the trappings of subterfuge

 I am willing to listen, I am willing to share
Show me honesty
Show me integrity
Show me the real you
and I will give you what you desire

 until then, you are not welcome
for I refuse to succumb
to your insolent demands
so pleasantly dropped at my feet
